Bye Week Repeat For Seattle?
Last season the Seahawks had three practices in their bye week and they then went on to lose three games in a row, turning a 3-0 start into a 3-3 record.
Coach Mike Holmgren is taking a different approach this year, he promised his team a full week off as long as the Seahawks defeated the Texans and The Cowboys. He remained true to his word after his team beat both Texas teams.
So the players went home on Monday night. The plan is for everyone to be back in Seattle by Sunday with practice scheduled to resume on Monday. The Seahawks next game is on November 6 against Arizona - on the road.
It remains to be seen if this new approach to rest over the bye week will allow Seattle to finish the season strongly - with their next games against Arizona, St. Louis and San Francisco, the Seahawks have a good chance.
